The Stuck Woman
She has the energy. She just cannot access it.
She built the thing. She ran the meeting. She made the decision, and everyone else arranged themselves around it.
She is a pioneer. A high achiever.
The kind of woman who is always climbing the next highest mountain, and sometimes literally.
People know her because she is always moving toward something. She sets the standard and expects everyone around her, including herself, to meet it. This is not arrogance. It is just how she is wired.
Forward. Higher. Next.
And now nothing is working the way it used to.
That is making her furious.
Lately everything requires twice the effort for half the result. The body that used to answer her immediately has started hesitating. The mind is still sharp. The will is still there. The capacity has not disappeared.
But something between the command and the response has gone quiet.
There is an old saying in classical Chinese medicine that the Liver is the general of the army. It commands movement, strategy, and the smooth flow of everything the body needs to get where it is going: Qi, Blood, emotion, digestion, sleep, the ability to wake up with a plan and execute it.
When the general is functioning well, the whole organism moves in coordinated, purposeful flow.
When the general is frustrated, overloaded, or blocked, nothing moves correctly. The troops are ready. Nobody is getting orders.
The Stuck Woman is living in that second scenario.
And she has been living there long enough that she has started to wonder if something is fundamentally wrong with her.
